This year, the Israeli Tikkun experience you know and love will be joined by the adventurous cultural Judaism of last year's sold-out Night Shift.
The Oshman Family JCC, ICC@JCC and
BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change come together to present Becoming: A Virtual Tikkun Leil Shavuot Experience, an online gathering featuring a rich variety of lectures, workshops, hands-on experiences and musical performances that are all about who we are and who we are becoming. The first series of sessions will be offered during the "Night Shift" on Saturday, May 30, and will continue with a "Day Shift" the morning of Sunday, May 31. You are invited to enjoy and variety of workshops and classes led by OFJCC faculty as well as singers, performers and thought leaders from our partnering organizations like BINA, The Shalom Hartman Institute, Judaism Unbound, At the Well and more.
We are proud to feature, among the many fabulous content
opportunities of this year's Tikkun, a full SHALEM track! SHALEM was created as
a collaboration between the PJCC, Embodied Jewish Learning, APJCC and the
OFJCC. The four organizations joined together to offer wellness programs
infused with Jewish wisdom, utilizing both ancient and modern Jewish teachings
and practices to support us in living flourishing, resourced, integrated,
resilient lives with a joyful sense of balance and well-being.
The Shavuot holiday is an opportunity in the Hebrew calendar to undergo deep transformations. This event gives us a chance to explore what our whole community is now "becoming" as we create a new Tikkun Leil Shavuot experience, inviting both our Hebrew- and English-speaking community members to learn, connect and become together.
With communal moments that fortify and strengthen our bonds, Becoming: A Tikkun Leil Shavuot Experience will offer a wide variety of delights and even a few surprises.

תיקון ליל שבועות תש"פ: התהוות
משמרת לילה: מוצאי שבת, 30 במאי, 8:30 עד 11:30 בלילה
משמרת יום: יום ראשון, 31 במאי, 9:15 בבוקר עד 12:30 בצהריים
תיקון ליל שבועות הוותיק והאהוב ייחגג השנה במתכונת כפולה ומיוחדת באופן מקוון. בשיתוף פעולה עם ארגון בינ"ה וארגונים שותפים נוספים, נחווה מגוון רחב של הרצאות, סדנאות, מפגשים מוזיקליים ומעגלי שיח וירטואליים בעברית ובאנגלית. נתכנס לחלק הראשון במוצאי שבת ונפגש בשנית ביום ראשון בבוקר.
הארוע ייערך השנה בסימן "התהוות": חג השבועות מציין נקודת ציון חשובה בתהליך ההתהוות של העם היהודי עם קבלת התורה, והשנה, יותר מכל זמן אחר, אנו כיחידים, כקהילה וכחברה גלובלית, חווים שינויי התהוות מרחיקי לכת עליהם ננסה לעמוד יחד במפגשים השונים במהלך האירוע. אנו נרגשים לערוך השנה לראשונה תיקון ליל שבועות המזמין את הקהילה כולה, דוברת העברית והאנגלית, לציין את החג יחד ולחגוג בצוותא את עושרה של התרבות היהודית על כל גווניה.
באירוע נארח שורה של דוברים מישראל ומארצות הברית במגוון תחומים של תרבות יהודית, ספרות, מגדר, מוסיקה, אומנות, תנועה, קולינריה ועוד.
