Caffe Mediterraneum

Caffe Mediterraneum serves a full line of Italian espresso drinks, pour-over filter coffee drinks, tea, Italian sodas, frappes and various pastries and light breakfast and lunch items. Their style of coffee is that of the traditional, delicious and unpretentious style of coffee served in the original Caffe Mediterraneum in Berkeley—where beat poets, free intellectuals and students gathered in the 60s and 70s. Gelato is also available at this inspired homage.

Holy Sushi offers an incredible range of menu offerings, from assorted nigiri sushi to authentic Japanese agedashi tofu to the "JCC Roll" made with hamachi and avocado. All of the rice is seasoned with a special homemade vinegar, and you can also specialize your order to be gluten-free.

The Ma'lawah Bar

A doorway to history, The Ma'lawah Bar specializes in artisan breads and fresh cuisine brought to Israel by Yemen's Jews during the early 1900s. The recipe of one Yemenite-Israeli family in New York was passed down through generations, delivering the mouth-watering flavor, texture and consistency of homemade bread into the modern day. Treat yourself to traditional breads like ma'lawah or jachun, or enjoy a burger or a wrap—and enjoy it with dips and basbousa!
