The critically acclaimed smash-hit Broadway musical The Band's Visit is the winner
of 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, making it one of the most Tony-winning musicals in history. It is also a Grammy Award® winner for Best Musical Theater Album.
This joyously offbeat story is set in a small desert town way off the beaten path. The Alexandria Ceremonial Police Orchestra from Egypt arrives in Israel for a cultural event, only to find there is no delegation to meet them, nor arrangements to get to their destination of Petah Tiqva. When they find their own ride, the lost band of musicians arrives instead at the remote town of Beit Hatikva.
Under the spell of the desert sky and with beautiful music perfuming the air, the band brings the town to life in unexpected and tantalizing ways. With a Tony and Grammy winning score, The Band's Visit rejoices in the way music makes us laugh, makes us cry and ultimately brings us together.
Proof of full COVID vaccination required along with a valid ID. Masks are required at all times.
