Join other teens to learn about the war in Israel and Gaza, to find support through an 1.5-hour gathering of community, learning and conversation.
We recognize the stress many of our teens are experiencing at school and socially due to this tragedy, and we want to come together to try to get more clarity on how to cope with everything going on.
Here's what you can expect:
Special Guest Speaker: Get ready to hear from Ido Segev, an Israeli lieutenant colonel with first-hand experience in the Israeli Defense Forces. He will provide an engaging presentation to help you grasp the current events in Israel and Gaza.
Interactive Discussion Circles: After the presentation, we'll split into grade-level discussion circles, led by our experienced staff. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts, feelings and questions with peers who understand what you're going through. Together, we'll explore coping strategies and find ways to support one another.
The session will be in English. Kosher pizza (cholov Yisrael) will be provided.
