It's that time of year again! The holidays are quickly approaching and the feeling of happiness, love and joy can already be seen throughout the community.
Although this may be the happiest time of year for some, for others who are in need, it may not be.
Help the OFJCC Fitness Center spread some holiday cheer and love to our community by donating to one of the three donation events we are hosting this year.
Fitness Food Drive: November 18–December 23
The Fitness Center has partnered with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley and The Ecumenical Hunger Program of East Palo Alto to collect and distribute canned food and non-perishables to ensure everyone in our community can enjoy a nice holiday meal this year.
Hanukkah Gift Drive: November 18–December 16
The Fitness Center and Jewish Family and Childrens Servcices will be working together to collect gifts for Jewish children to receive during Hanukkah.
Please bring new and unwrapped gifts to the Fitness Center and help make a special child's Hanukkah one to remember.
Winter Clothing and Shoe Drive: November 28–January 9
The Fitness Center will be collaborating again with Sole4Souls to not only collect gently used shoes, but also clothing for the cold months ahead. Please donate warm winter clothing and accessories for all ages and genders to help families stay warm and cozy.
We will accept any and all clothing and shoe donations. If donating socks, they must be new or never worn.
Donations accepted during posted operating hours. Please bring all donations to the First Floor of the Fitness Center. All donations accepted starting November 18.
