    Where: Off Campus

A class brought to you by the OFJCC, Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School and IYUN.

The OFJCC and Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School are thrilled to partner with IYUN, a national Jewish organization committed to adult Jewish learning, to bring our parents an opportunity to join together for Jewish text study. This OFJCC-Hausner learning circle is a chance for our community to gather for a new kind of conversation. When it comes to the big questions, we don't believe there are experts with an answer book. Our hope is to help you find your place, on your terms, in Judaism's Great Conversation.

Join Zoe Fertik, beloved OFJCC Jewish educator, and Hausner parent, for a new 8-week Jewish learning cohort. This cohort of parents will explore "Jewish Wisdom for Life's Big Questions," using traditional and non-traditional Jewish sources to investigate the big issues of living a good life today. Topics include gratitude, forgiveness, spirituality, accountability and more. This in-person class will be discussion-based; we can't wait to hear from you, and for you to hear from each other!

Everyone is welcome. Everything's on the table. No Jewish learning experience is necessary.

The course takes place at the Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School in the Beit Tefillah.

Zoe Fertik is the Associate Director of Jewish Content at the Oshman Family JCC. Previously, she worked at BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change, where she founded an English Beit Midrash for the Secular Yeshiva in Tel Aviv. Zoe studied religion at Wesleyan University, and has a masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School. She is also a proud alumna of several immersive Jewish learning and Israel programs, including EIE, Kivunim, Pardes and Yeshivat Hadar. Zoe is a Wexner Graduate Fellow in Jewish Education and a member of The Schusterman Foundation's ROI Community.
