Since "I love you" is—more or less—easily said, if in song, the sentiment must be expressed in a more clever, less cliché way.
Go on a musical journey of love songs from over 40 Broadway shows from
Show Boat through "the Golden Age" to recent hits. Join popular San Francisco Bay Area instructor James Sokol to explore the creative ways lyrics of love are expressed in a variety of melodies creating charming patter songs, soaring ballads, heartbreaking torch songs and more! Learn interesting tidbits about the shows themselves. Bask in the audio and video performance clips that bring the magic and excitement of Broadway musicals into our discussion.
