Chaverut is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for local Jewish teens to connect.
Come benefit from an hour or two of self-care with other Jewish teens!
Teens are welcome to join us for:
- Relaxation stations: hair braiding, crafts, refreshments
- Mr. Softee soft-serve truck
- Clubs and Jewish organizations fair
- The New Jew: Days at War (partial) screening, followed by moderated conversation with guest speaker Amy Albertson, about Jewish American identity.
This event is intended for any teens who are—or would like to—become more involved in their Jewish communities. Anyone who is curious about what it means to be a Jew in the Bay Area is welcome! Club leaders, members, youth group participants, students who are not currently involved—all are welcome.
This event is about building and celebrating our community, and that includes everyone.
We are hoping to create a cross-school network and increase teen interest in local Jewish community happenings. We also hope to celebrate our people's resilience after a tumultuous year.
