Ora and Ihab Balha, a Muslim Arab from Jaffa, a spiritual leader and a peace activist, and Ora, a Jewish body-movement therapist from the Galilee, turned their beautiful love story and mixed family into a successful educational model that affects the lives of thousands of Jewish and Arab children, their families and their communities throughout Israel. They founded The Orchard of Abraham's Children, a network of preschools, kindergarten classrooms and as of September 2023, an elementary school, in Jaffa and the Galilee.

This past year has been devastating and trying for all. The strength of Jewish-Arab relations and the mobilization of local Jewish and Arab civil support for their communities has been a game-changer for many in Israel. Looking to the future, Ora and Ihab believe that a true and strong Jewish-Arab partnership and unity lies at the core of Israel's future and is a major point of hope for all.

Come hear first-hand the personal story of Ihab and Ora, who created a family and life that embodies the challenges and hopes for a true Jewish-Arab unity, through their commitment to shared Jewish-Arab living as the building block of a thriving, peaceful and equal Israeli society.

The event will take place in English.
