    Balance and Stability Training

    "Among older adults, ages 65 or better, falls are the leading cause of injury-related death (CDC). Falls are also the most common cause of non-fatal injuries and of hospital admissions for trauma. In acute and rehabilitation hospitals, falls resulting in injury occur in 30% to 51% of patients."

    OFJCC Palo Alto JCCThis Balance and Stability Training course is designed to specifically address slips, trips and falls. Certified Personal Trainer Leeann Higgins will teach various exercises and stretches to help build strength and muscle memory. She will also coach participants on how to easily get up and down from the floor, include fun games that will challenge your hand/eye coordination and create a community for socializing.

    The class is a drop-in, ongoing program.

    Program Fee:
    $30 per workout for Members and J-Pass Holders
    $55 per workout for General Public
