Message from J-Camp Regarding Summer 2020
We are excited to share with you that under County guidelines, we believe we will be able to hold J-Camp this summer! As we confirm details with the County, we are enthusiastically planning a fun and meaningful modified J-Camp summer experience for our J-Campers that adheres to strict social distancing measures recommended by federal, state and local health departments. We know this time of uncertainty can be frustrating, but rest assured we are working on creating a memorable summer program that will adhere to the following guidelines:
- Limiting group sizes to minimize the risk of COVID-19
- Creating fun, spirit-filled programs on campus in small groups, rather than our traditional field trips and all-camp events
- Utilizing local Hebrew speakers to provide an authentic experience for Tayasim campers
- Likely putting other modifications in place as well, such as the number of weeks being offered, the number of hours that camp will operate and possibly a limited age range of kids we will be able to serve
We realize that these adjustments may have an impact on your ability or desire to participate in camp, and that you will be anxious to know specifics as soon as possible. We are working hard to nail down details, including any changes this might involve for those who have already signed up for camp, as well as to revisit our current refund policy. As it stands, there are no more billings planned for families who have signed up until our adapted structure is offered, so you do not need to worry about canceling right now, unless you are already sure that you will not be needing or wanting camp this summer.
Don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] with any questions that you currently have about J-Camp. We look forward to speaking with you soon. Stay healthy, strong and safe!
