OFJCC Palo Alto JCCThe city of Prague holds a special place in Jewish history, and it is only to Jerusalem that it yielded its importance. Today Prague is a unique monument to European Jewish culture. It holds many unsolved mysteries and legends. Mila Schechter will guide us through the narrow streets from the Middle Ages, telling us stories about the wise and powerful people that inhabited them, about Rabbi Judah Loew ben Bezalel and his fantastic creation—the mysterious clay monster, Golem.

Presenter, Mila Schechter is a chemist by profession and relentless explorer by nature. For many years her activity was focused on the preservation of natural water first in the Soviet Union and later in Israel. During the past few years, she dedicated herself to educating her peers in Jewish culture and history. She holds tour guide certificates in three languages (Russian, Hebrew and English).

Мила проведет вас по средневековым улицам, расскажет о великих мудрецах и могущественных банкирах, о Раввине Лëве и его фантастическом создании—глиняном великане Големе.
