"Judaism: The New Basics" will provide a textual exploration of some of the basic concepts that form the Jewish worldview. This course serves as an introduction to Jewish ideas for those who are new to Jewish learning. For those of you already experienced with Jewish learning, the course's focus on text should provide a deeper investigation into some of these familiar ideas. No background necessary; curiosity required.
Who needs a refresher on The Torah?! As a celebration of 929's finishing its cycle of learning Torah, we are offering a Torah crash course. Each week, we will cover one book of the Torah. Come learn or relearn the Torah's famous stories, general themes, particular history, wonderful poetics and essential ideas that form the core of the Jewish narrative.
