    About Shalhevet
Shalhevet is a two-week trip through both Poland and Israel. It is a premier educational journey connecting Bay Area high school juniors and seniors to the history, heritage and future of the Jewish people.

Shalhevet is a Bay Area tradition unique among Poland-Israel teen journeys as a small group experience that includes pre- and post-trip education.

Jewish history in Eastern Europe, the founding of the State of Israel, the Holocaust and modern-day revitalization of Polish Jewry are just a few of the topics we cover. During the two-week trip to Poland and Israel the curriculum is brought to life.

Led by expert staff, students visit concentration camps, remnants of the Jewish Ghetto and today's growing Jewish community. They spend time with Polish and Israeli peers and learn how they relate to their countries' past and their hopes for the future. They develop a deep connection to Israel and the Jewish people, with the tools to become their generation's Jewish leaders.
