Pocket Opera Presents Rossini's "The Barber of Seville"

When: Sunday, 7/21/2019 5:00 PM Export event

Where: Albert and Janet Schultz Cultural Arts Hall (Bldg F)

Pocket Opera and Cinnabar Theater present their first co-production.

Pocket Opera, the Bay Area's premiere chamber opera company, has offered accessible, "audience-friendly" performances for over 40 years. Pocket Opera's talented singers and Pocket Philharmonic (5–10 players) perform lively, professional, entertaining productions. Performances are fully staged and include concert ensembles. They are narrated in English by Donald Pippin, the company's founder and Artistic Director. The audience experiences full operatic works on an intimate, intelligible scale unique to Pocket Opera.

Figaro! Figaro! Figaro! Only the clever barber can help Rosina outwit her guardian, Bartolo, to wind up in the arms of her true love, Almaviva.
