    Planting Seeds for the Future

    Virtual Tu B’Shvat Seder

    When: Sunday, 1/24/2021 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

    Where: Online

OFJCC Palo Alto JCCTu B'Shvat, the Jewish earth day, is the traditional reminder that spring is just around the corner.

Join us for a family-friendly virtual musical Tu B'Shvat seder and seed planting.

Tu B'Shvat is also known as Jewish Arbor Day, Chag La'ilanot and the Birthday of the Trees. We will sample a traditional Tu B'Shvat seder with ritual foods, do some learning, celebrate, talk about our important role in taking care of the environment, and take away some concrete action items that are applicable to life both at work and at home. At the end, each participant/family will get a chance to plant for the future.

Please see the list of items needed for this event below. We offer an option that includes full Tu B'Shvat kits to be picked up the day before the event at the OFJCC.
