    Jewish Plays Project

When: Tuesday, 4/4/2017 7:30 PM Export event

Where: Freidenrich Conference Center (Bldg F) 4th Floor

The Jewish Plays Project is reinventing Jewish theater.

The Jewish Plays Project (JPP) puts bold, progressive Jewish conversations on world stages. JPP’s innovative and competitive development vehicle invests emerging artists in their Jewish identity; engages Jewish communities in the vetting, selecting and championing of new voices; and secures mainstream production opportunities for the best new plays.

Local readers have selected the 3 best pieces from a collection of 10 Jewish plays. Audience members will watch excerpts from each play, performed live, and then vote for the piece that best embodies Jewish voice in the arts. The winning play will get a chance to be produced in New York City. Make your voice heard!
