April is a month of cleaning for Pesach, and it's spring, so why not make it a good deed too? Start your month right by donating your unopened new dry goods.
Starting April 1st through April 15th the OFJCC will be accepting food donations to donate to families in need at Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS).
JFCS Food Banks offer nutritious, high-protein food to seniors on fixed incomes, adults with disabilities, young families with low incomes, and other individuals and families facing temporary crises.
Items Most Needed:
- Peanut butter
- Canned meat such as tuna fish, chicken
- Canned vegetables and fruits
- Whole grains and cereals
- Pasta, rice and soup kits
- Canned beans, soup, stew, chili
Donation bins are located in front of the Leslie Family Preschool and in the Goldman Sports and Wellness Center.
