    The Courageous Parenting Model

    OFJCC Palo Alto JCCAre you fed up with arguing with your kids most of the time? Are you looking for more effective tools to communicate with your children?

    You are invited to join a parents' group facilitated by Dr. Ifat Matzner-Herooti, to learn the principles of the 'Courageous Parenting Model: Empathy, Awareness, Creativity, Humility, Thankfulness'. Understanding and implementing these principles will substantially reduce your challenges with your children and will help you develop their resilience.

    Warning: This is a life-changing process!

    OFJCC Palo Alto JCCDr. Ifat Matzner-Herooti is a parenting coach who helps parents gain more knowledge and acquire tools to better understand themselves and their children. She teaches and shares parenting insights in lectures, groups, digital courses, podcast and media columns.

    In January 2020, her book Parenting: A Comedy of Errors Filled with Good Intentions was published. Ifat is also a law professor from UC Berkeley who investigated how American and Israeli fathers combine work and family. She is married and has two children.
