    Goju-Ryu Karate

    Goju-Ryu (hard-soft) karate is derived from White Crane Kung Fu and is a circular style martial arts, which incorporates soft blocking techniques with devastating strikes. Goju-Ryu is a highly effective self defense form suitable for all. 

    Learn traditional Goju-Ryu Karate from Desmond Tuck, a San Mateo attorney and Japan-graded 7th degree black belt. Desmond Sensei has trained in this art since 1970 and has taught at the OFJCC since 1992. 

    He travels to Japan annually for training and is the US representative of Tokyo-based Akio Takahashi Hanshi, 10th Dan, head instructor of Goju-Ryu Kenwakai. Takahashi Hanshi is a world-renowned kumite (sparring) expert.
