"The Talmud's Greatest Hits" is our newest mini-course in the OFJCC and BINA adult learning series called "Judaism: The New Basics."
This mini-course will consist of four sessions. Participants are welcome to sign up for any individual session, or to sign up for all four sessions in the mini-course. Each class costs $18; the whole course costs $60.
The Talmud is one of the most important texts on the Jewish bookshelf. It is an anthology of conversations that have, over time, created the basis for living a Jewish life. As in any conversation, there are many stories told. This course aims to retell some of the most famous of these Talmudic stories. This course is a great entry to Talmud for anyone who has never learned Talmud before. In taking this course, participants will become familiar with the Talmud's "greatest hits," and will have a better sense of the language, characters, and objective of the Talmud.
Participants are welcome to attend any individual class or to enroll in the entire course for a discounted rate. Register on this page for all four classes. Registration for individual classes is available via the links below.
Two Bonus Sessions Available!
