Join Cynthia Klein for practical advice on how to teach responsibility by having effective, collaborative, problem-solving discussions with your children. They will be excited, feel more "grown-up" and be more cooperative when you use this approach to discuss leaving on time in the morning, chores or homework.
Cynthia Klein, BA, is a certified parent educator and an expert parenting coach. She has been working with parents of children ages 5–25 since 1994. Cynthia designs and presents parenting education workshops for Parents Place and also coaches parents privately.
Cynthia helps parents improve their communication and connection with their children and she has taught more than a thousand parenting classes and private coaching sessions. Through her unique approach, parents are inspired to develop their inner wisdom about how to rear their children. Her philosophy empowers parents and gives them the tools to turn family conflicts into cooperation.
Cynthia is the author of Ally Parenting: A Non-Adversarial Approach to Transform Conflict Into Cooperation, published in 2017, which offers practical parenting strategies with examples of dialogue and parent success stories. Cynthia also authored the "Middle School Mom" column for Parenting on the Peninsula magazine for many years.
