The San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers is celebrating 140 years in Golden Gate Park. Enjoy a leisurely stroll among exotic plants. Five galleries focus on different ecosystems, from a tropical rainforest to a cloud forest on top of mountains. You will see rare and unusual plants from around the world.
Relax with a delicious lunch at the historic Cliff House restaurant with its magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. The original Cliff House was built by Adolph Sutro, 24th mayor of San Francisco, in 1863 along with the famous Sutro Baths. The Cliff House has been destroyed and rebuilt three times over the last 156 years. Among the illustrious guests have been many US presidents and prominent members of society.
