Mothers with babies under a year, you and your little ones are welcome to join a group that will give you the opportunity to talk about your own and your baby's changing needs. In the Circle, we will discuss topics such as: the childbirth experience, fantasies of motherhood, changes in spousal and family dynamics, postpartum body image and the interaction between motherhood and other aspects of life.
Additionally, you will acquire practical knowledge regarding your baby's developmental stages, schedule, diet, sleep and habits.
The Circle of Moms is suitable for every mom: first-time mom, second time or more.
Amit Metzl Raz is first and foremost a mom to two amazing children who fill her world with surprising experiences and endless joy. Thanks to her children she has been privileged to re-examine her choices and update them, to dare and identify that she has changed and, as a result, to make changes in her professional environment. These experiences led her to choose to work with moms who are in such a unique, special and meaningful period in their lives.
With a BA in Social Work (specialization in International Social Work) from Sapir Academic College and an MA in Community Development and NGO Management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and as a certified Baby Developmental Counselor, Toddler Rhythmic Instructor and a Baby Massage Instructor by Wingate College. Amit has worked as a social worker in a wide variety of roles, each of which presented a mix of group work and facilitation along with casework enriched with experience in facilitation and consulting group processes in both Hebrew and English.
