Learn effective ways to provide your kids with age-appropriate answers to those uncomfortable questions about our bodies and sex. We will discuss when to have the talk, how to prepare for it, and why this kind of open communication is beneficial.
Presented by Torrey Mandell Freeman, MS, a certified parent educator and certified sex educator, who specializes in guiding parents on how to talk to their kids about sex and sexuality.
At Parents Place she has led the Wonderful Ones class, the Parent Anger, and Child Anger workshops. She currently teaches the Boundaries, Bodies and Where Babies Come From workshop, as well as the Juggling Two workshop.
Torrey completed her sex educator training through San Francisco Sex Information (SFSI) in 2006. Torrey has a master's degree in counseling from San Francisco State University and a parent education certificate from the University of Minnesota.
