    B'hootz Information Session

    A Wilderness Torah Program

When: Thursday, 12/8/2016 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Export event

    Where: Room D-129

We're excited that the Wilderness Torah, a Jewish nature program, is launching a Bay Area satellite of their popular B’Hootz program!

Come learn about this unique K–5 program that seeks to integrate nature-based exploration with Jewish spirituality, tradition and ethics.

The program will start in the spring of 2017 and meet every other Sunday in local hills around Palo Alto. B’hootz is an experiential, mentorship program that focuses on embodied, nature-based learning—weaving Jewish teachings, story and song with wilderness skills, nature awareness, challenges and community-building experiences. There are no walls, no desks and usually no paper. The forest is our classroom.

We welcome participants of all backgrounds—Jewish and multi-faith—and celebrate diversity of Jewish knowledge, practice, belief and expression.

Complimentary childcare will be provided. Please email Robin Vasilakos at [email protected] if you will be using childcare.
