    Host Your Own Projects (Mitzvah in a Box)

    Imagine being able to do a good deed with friends, family or co-workers by hosting in your very own space. Bring joy to animals by making treats or toys, put together manna bags to benefit the hungry, feel the happiness a sick child and their family get from a simple hand-made project.

    We make this easy for you by bringing a prepared project to you. Projects are fully customizable based on your interests, group size and desired outcome.

    For ages 6–10, please include two parents/guardians per 10 children
    For ages 10–14, please include one parent/guardian per 10 children
    Prices include: materials, project needs, instructor

    Make Treats for the Palo Alto Animal Shelter (Starting at 2 Hours)
    Ages 6 and up
    Mix and bake dog biscuits that are safe and nutritious. Also make braided pull toys for dogs that will help increase their play time as well as keep their teeth strong. The items will be donated to animals in need at the local animal shelter.

    Make Hats and Scarves for Those in Need (Starting at 2 Hours)
    Ages 6 and up
    Festive fleece scarfs and hats provide a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are presently in need.

    Starting at $400; up to 20 people; 

    Make Blankets for Project Linus (Starting at 2 Hours) 
    Ages 6 and up
    Make no-sew blankets for ill children with Project Linus. Project Linus provides love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need through the gifts of homemade blankets and quilts lovingly created by volunteer blanketeers.

    Create Reusable Bags with Toiletries for the Homeless (Starting at 2 Hours) 
    All Ages
    Make no-sew T-shirt reusable bags and fill them with toiletries and necessities needed by homeless families staying at or visiting the local shelters. The shelters provide far more than temporary shelter; they also offer transitional housing and stable housing self-sufficiency. Starting at $300; up to 50 Bags
    Starting at $500; up to 100 Bags

    Garden in a Gift Bag for Local Homebound Seniors (Starting at 2 Hours) 
    All Ages
    Enjoy an outdoor project by putting together gift bags for seniors. Decorate reusable plant pots and plant flowers, vegetables or herbs.

    Starting at $500; up to 20 people
