Refusenik - Event Program

A gathering on the 20th anniversary of the mass exodus of Jews from the former Soviet Union to honor the heroes of the movement and to reflect on our shared future as a Jewish community. This community-wide event marks the 20th anniversary of the end of communism and the mass emigration of Jews from the former Soviet Union.

The program will feature an informative and moving retrospective on the Let My People Go Movement. We will hear from both the Russian side of the movement, Refuseniks, and American side, Supportniks, the heroes that made this movement such an astounding success. During the second part of the program, we will look toward our shared future and reflect upon what we can learn from the amazing success of the Let My People Go Movement.
