Congregation Based Community Organizing Training
A visionary and dynamic leader, Rabbi Jonah Pesner will lead a workshop called "Issues of Injustice: Organizing an Engaging and Effective Campaign." Rabbi Pesner works with synagogues across the country pursuing social justice and is the founding Director of the Union for Reform Judaism's Just Congregations initiative. Don't miss this intriguing discussion about the relationship between the American Jewish & Muslim communities, presented in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. Speakers include the Jewish Federation's CEO Daniel Sokatch, who will focus on social justice and the Jewish community's priorities, as well as Aaron Hahn Tapper and Huda Abu Arqoub (co-Executive Directors of Abraham's Vision), who will share their vision of inter-communal relations.
