Experience new ways to nurture your body, mind and spirit in a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere for women of all ages. Join hundreds of women from across the Bay Area across various generations for a powerful, meaningful day to Breathe.

Start your morning with an exclusive Zumba® workshop in our fitness center –for women only! After you’re energized and ready to go, enjoy a continental breakfast and fresh coffee as you check in and browse the workshop selections. Choose two expert-led morning workshops from among an array of dynamic topics including c
aregiving, fitness, relationships, weight loss, beauty and happiness.

The day ends with a healthy catered lunch and keynote presentation by Professor Miri Amit of Ben-Gurion University.

Keynote by Professor Miri Amit
Reversing the Ophelia Syndrome: Educating Women to be Independent Thinkers

Professor Miri Amit will talk about how to motivate girls and women of all Professor Miri Amit, keynote speaker for Breatheages express their intelligence and individual gifts rather than worry about being accepted and obedient.

Professor Amit is Dean of Ben-Gurion University’s Eilat campus. For more than ten years she served as the National Superintendent of Mathematics at the Israel Ministry of Education, overseeing school curricula, national testing and mathematics education policy for the entire State of Israel.

Professor Amit’s research has been published in highly acclaimed journals and she has written four books on math and science learning and teaching. She received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, and her Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Sciences at Ben-Gurion University. She is married and the mother of three grown children. She moved to the south of Israel, first to Eilat and then to Beer-Sheva for patriotic reasons, feeling the need to contribute to the development of these more remote regions of the country.
