Spanish Jewish History
 

Follow the rise and collapse of the Golden Age and meet fascinating characters. Dr. Marti Krow-Lucal brings us the history and culture of the Jews of Spain and Portugal, including issues of Conversos and the Inquisition.

Marti Krow-Lucal is co-creator of the Secular Yiddish Schools of North America Special Collection at Stanford University Libraries. She attended an International Workers Order (IWO/Ordn) shule and mitlshul in Los Angeles before earning her B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard. Krow-Lucal has taught classes on nineteenth-century history and Yiddish literature at many venues.
