Family Fitness Class
For parents and kids ages 3-10 years old
Family Fitness Workshop is a fun and energizing workout for the whole family. Parent and child work together to complete various activities, often including an obstacle course, relay races, and/or animal movements. Exercises are appropriate for all ages and inspired from several disciplines, including yoga, martial arts, creative movement, and Pilates. The focus in Family Fit Camp is on increasing cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility, as well as promoting family wellness.

Instructor Spotlight
Autumn Vandiver has been working in the fitness industry and in early childhood education since 2000. She has experience as a preschool teacher, youth fitness coach, a group exercise instructor, and a personal trainer.

Autumn created Family Fit Camp as a way to spend quality time with her own child while educating families about health and fitness. She believes that when parents participate in exercise with their children, they are building a foundation for a lifelong love of fitness.
Autumn provides a safe environment for children and adults to challenge themselves and have fun with fitness. Her approach to working with families includes providing developmentally appropriate curriculum, fostering self-confidence, and encouraging cooperation.

Autumn lives in Mountain View and has a six year old son. In addition to her work as an educator and fitness professional, she writes a weekly parenting column for a local online newspaper.
