Cooking Class: India
A part of the Around the World in 8 Cooking Classes Series

We are blessed here in the south bay to have many wonderful Indian restaurants, but the cuisine is easy to learn. Indian cooking uses an amazing variety of spices which are integral to the flavor and aroma of a dish. This class will focus on the use of these spices and how they can transform simple ingredients into mouthwatering dishes! Our menu is simple enough to prepare and enjoy for a weekday meal or for entertaining.

We will enjoy a meal of:
Saag Paneer - Spinach with homemade Indian cheese.
Chana Masala - Garbanzo Beans Curry with mushrooms.
Gobi Matar - Cauliflower with peas.
Basmati Rice Pilaf with Cumin and assorted vegetables.
Kulfi with Cardamon and Pistachios - Indian ice cream.

All meals are either dairy or use only kosher meat without dairy products. Substitutions will be discussed.
