A Journey Through My Collection

The exhibition A Journey Through my Collection is an expression of the artists’ impression of places andIlan Blech Art Exhibit people as he sees them in Israel, US, and around the world.

An expressive and realist artist, Ilan paints a simple and sometimes naïve visual expression of small towns, narrow streets and rivers, seasonal blooms, colorful houses and figures that become the artist's icon. Figures which the artist met with accompany him into his studio to tell a story of a town or place through their silence.

Ilan Blech a native Israeli was born in Haifa. He studied figure drawing, Oil Painting and Acrylic painting at Foothill College Blech studied Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy, Earned a PhD in Metallurgy from MIT, Cambridge, MA.
